This paper upcycling project is inspired by
Lia Griffith's fruit basket made from paper shopping bags. Her tutorial below:
I have already made the same weaving project years ago, as an elementary school project, and I just got reminded of it by Ms. Griffith's post. I used here the mistakenly printed paper for my daughter's school project from last year. I kept them and was thinking of what recycling project it would fit it. And here it is!
I added an origami polka dots butterfly as an accent and used it as a basket for a bunch of onion and garlic in my kitchen.
